Take to the ocean from the quayside of the fabulous, cosmopolitan V&A Waterfront. As you head for open waters on the sunset boat cruise, keep an eye out for the famous Cape Fur Seals lazing around in the harbour and take the time to admire the city from this unique vantage point. Once you’re beyond the harbour walls, wait for the sun to dip behind the horizon, bathing everything in gold as it goes. Enjoy a glass of complimentary sparkling wine to toast life the way it’s meant to be lived!
Go with the wind
The Esperance is a magnificent yacht that chooses its destination according to which way the wind blows. Once it has motored out of the harbour, it sails across Table Bay towards the Milnerton lighthouse from where you’ll have a breathtaking view of Table Mountain. It will then make its way to Granger Bay, from where you can watch the sun set in spectacular fashion before you sail back to the glittering lights of the V&A Waterfront.
Go with the throb of engines
The Southern Cross is a motorised vessel that follows a different route around the Atlantic seaboard towards Clifton beach. Watch the people on the Sea Point promenade watch you as you sail by. From here you’ll get a great view of Lion’s Head as the sun goes down, the mansions that dot the coast and the bold and beautiful on the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton.
